Chilwell had great success at the Country Championships at Moe in January with the highlight coming from the 40+ Women who blitzed in the 4 x 100 Relay to win Gold and set a new Victorian Country Record as well as winning Gold in the
4 X 400 Relay.
Overall Chilwell won 13 Gold, 11 Silver, 19 Bronze

AUSTRALIAN JUNIOR TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS, SYDNEY
Chilwell athletes on fire in Sydney
Isabell Gower won GOLD in both the 800m & 1500M in the uner 14 age group at the Nationals in Sydney last weekend !! What a fantastic effort from our dedicated and talented Chilwell athlete.
Other exceptional medal performances came from the following Chilwell athletes
SILVER - Jmara Hockley-Samon (twice) & Tessa Consedine (twice)

Chilwell Relay Girls- Megan Ashworth, Emily Fyffe, Claudia Verstraten & Shannon Richards set a new Under 13 VICTORIAN COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP RECORD of 54.50 at the Vic Country Championships on January 26th 2009.

16 year old wheelchair sprinter from Highton Jemima Moore anchored the 4 x 100m relay team to come home with a Bronze medal

19 year old Kelly Cartwright captured the womens ambulant 100m title at the national championships in a PB of 17.37 sec.
